Tour de Mendo - multi-day tours of the Mendocino Coast
Each trip is customized to the skill level of the group. All paddlers must have self and buddy rescue skills before registering for any of our sea kayak trips.

Sunday Mendocino Kayak Tours
Paddlers can join us on our Sunday Paddles. Our Sunday Paddles are $60/person ($80/person if you need to use one of our kayaks). Our Sunday Paddles range from mild to wild and for beginner through advanced so paddlers can select the paddle that suits their skill level and interests.

Sea Kayak and Explore the Mendocino Coast
Second Sunday's, you can join Liquid Fusion Kayaking on a sea kayak journey along the Mendocino Coast.
This paddle is perfect for those who have had some sea kayak experience and are looking to sea kayak and experience the rugged beauty of Mendocino's coastline. Conditions permitting, we will paddle into sea caves, rock gardens, and secluded coves. We will also paddle off shore and see the beauty of our coastal headlands from the ocean. Tips for wildlife watching and coastal paddling will be shared as we paddle.
Paddlers are expected to have taken LFK's Rock Garden Class (typically offered the Second Saturday of the month), have the equivalent of BCU 2 Star Skills, and be comfortable paddling at a 3 knot over 4-5 hours.
Paddlers may use their own sea kayak or rent one from us. Sea kayaks must be sea worthy with adequate flotation and properly fitting spray decks. Immersion wear (wetsuit/drysuit) is required for 50 degree water. Please contact us with any equipment questions.

Third Sunday Kayak Rock Garden Tour
Whitewater Kayak Rock Garden Tour
Third Sunday's play with Liquid Fusion Kayaking in their paddling playground on the Mendocino Coast.
This paddle is for kayakers who want to rock garden, surf, and play in whitewater kayaks on the Mendocino Coast. We will be guiding paddlers to play spots and sharing tips for reading the water, running pour-overs, surfing waves, and paddling technical water in short boats.
This is an Advanced Intermediate Level Tour. Paddlers are expected to have a reliable roll in moving water, be in good physical condition, and have surf zone and rock garden paddling skills. Paddlers must have taken LFK's Whitewater of the Sea Class, a kayak surfing class, and have the approval of LFK to participate in Third Sunday Paddles.
Third Sunday Paddles are 5-6 hours and $60/person ($80/person if renting a kayak).

Tour de Mendo
Explore the sea caves, arches, rock formations, and secluded coves of the Mendocino Coast with LFK’s experienced guides. Be enthralled by the wildness of the Pacific Ocean as we navigate the swells and rock gardens of the Mendocino Coast.

Who: Seasoned sea kayakers – individuals or groups- wanting a guided paddling adventure on the Mendocino Coast. Anyone who has paddled here before and wants to explore a new stretch or learn some rock gardening skills.
Prerequisite Skills: self rescue (eskimo roll recommended), open ocean experience, ability to paddle 6 hours per day.
What: Sea kayak coastal exploration tour guided by Liquid Fusion Kayaking. Day one is instructional and then each day we will paddle approximately 4-6 nautical miles with exploration and rock gardening along the way.
We are also likely to spend some time playing in whitewater kayaks in the rock gardens. If there is interest and water, we will add an additional day running a whitewater river.
