Enjoy a hands on lesson on the basics of mushroom identification followed by a mushroom hunting/wildlife watching meander on the Noyo River.   Our warm, waterproof gear will keep you warm, and you will enjoy the ease and comfort of our touring sea kayaks allowing you to enjoy the quiet solitude of the Noyo River, colorful migratory ducks, mysterious Mendocino mushrooms, and fall scenery.

This is a 3 hour adventure.  The first 30-45 minutes is a lesson at our shop on mushroom identification and ecology followed by a 1.5-2 hour paddle admiring wild mushrooms and wildlife.  No experience is necessary and all kayak equipment is provided including waterproof splashwear.Reservations are required and tours run rain or shine.

Other dates can be scheduled in October and November for groups of 2 or more at our 1/2 day rate of  $90/person.

Please note that this is an educational tour.  We will not be getting out of the kayaks and foraging for mushrooms.
