Level 2 Surf Kayak

The interest in playing with the waves started in kayaks a long time ago and is making a strong comeback in the ever-popular kayak world. Today surf kayaking is an ever-sought out discipline of kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts. We want you to learn to slide along these waves with good etiquette, safety and a whole lot of fun.

Kayaks used in these clinics will be: whitewater kayaks, sots, sea kayaks and surf specific craft

Weekly Lesson:
Almost every week Liquid Fusion Kayak will host a two-hour lesson, from 6:30-8:30am.

Cost: $180 for all five lessons or $40 per lesson. Location is available 24 hours prior to lesson. Pre-requisites; Level 1 or instructor approval.

Level 1 - 4 Surf Kayaking

Level 1: An introduction to equipment and strokes to use in the surf. This clinic is held on flat water, and is a great way to learn the transition to surf kayaking from other kayak disciplines.
3 hours - $65 or come out to the flat water perfection lesson.
Level 1 or equivalent skills are required to take Level 2 surf.

Level 2: Take the skills learned in Level 1 to the surf zone. We practice in a friendly environment as we introduce the surf zone, etiquette, launching, landing, wave selection, and wave sliding.

2 hour lessons - $40

Level 2 is required to take Level 3 and all surfing tours.

Level 3: Your skills learned in Level 1 & Level 2 will be enhanced as we visit different venues. The Eskimo roll is essential at this level. For those exploring the shores of Southern California and the world, this clinic is a must. Stay safe, have fun, and catch waves!

Level 4: come along on a surfing tour. Find your level from above and do a local Kayak Safari. One day $150 per person
