Join Jeff Laxier as he takes you through the sea caves and rock formations that litter the coast of Mendocino.

Who: With the knowledge set forth by the BCU as a 3 star sea paddler or greater.

What: Exploration of kayak skills, rock formations, sea caves.

When: 4 hours per day on the water, and numerous hours in camp and on the beach for discussion.

Rock Gardening Lessons

Kayak enthusiast who have the draw to explore and feel the adventure of rock formations. The Rock n’ Roll Lesson will teach you:

· How to stay in control

· Read the moving water

· Explore sea caves and rock formations

· Recovery techniques

· Recognize hazards

· And much more

Sea Kayak with proper flotation

Sit on top (must be approved)

Spray deck for decked kayaks

Thigh braces for all sit on tops

PFD, must fit properly

Helmet, must fit properly

Thermal Clothing for 50' water

Paddle

Water bottle

High energy snack

Warm dry change of cloths
