Sea Kayaks in the Surf

Jeff Laxier will do an impromtu sea kayak surfing lesson.  If you are interested in improving your already learned surf skills join us for great time. 

It is time to leave the controlled bays and enter the ocean. Learn to launch and land through the surf with control, safety, and finesse.

Any paddler looking for adventure is going to launch and land through the surf sooner or later. Leave your anxiety behind, and learn to control your kayak the right way- right side up. This clinic is geared toward the sea kayaker and kayak fishermen.

Required skills:

Basic strokes, edging and bracing

An Eskimo roll is very benificial 

Completion of flat-water perfection (recommended)
