Private Lessons

There are many different kayak models, disciplines, and learning styles. LFK will cater a lesson to your own wants and needs as a paddler. We will take time to focus on your goals and needs to accelerate the learning process. Whether you are an elite athlete, outdoor enthusiast, bird watcher, social butterfly, or a hunter of the sea, come learn to kayak better. Some people want to get out and try it, while others strive to be one with the water as it has been done for over 4,000 years. Here at LFK we want to help you find your connection to kayaking.

Who: Beginners up to advanced.

What: Private kayak lessons and tours in multiple disciplines:

Sea kayaking, whitewater kayaking (surf, river, rock gardening), kayak fishing, wildlife viewing, kayak water polo, and many more.

When: By appointment.

Cost: All private lessons (4 participants and under) are run with one instructor unless otherwise noted.

3 hours: $150 per person (max 4) add $25 if a kayak is needed.

6 hours: $275 per person (max 4) Eskimo Rolling: $150 per person and covers two 1.5 hour lessons (max 2 paddlers)

Groups:

4-8 people(with kids 6 max) Basic pricing is $75 per three hours and $110 per six hours. This is based on students having their own equipment. 

Add $25 per lesson if a kayak is needed.  Gear is on limited supply so reserve early.
